The hotel is nestled conveniently between the Rialto Bridge and St Mark's Square, providing an idyllic location with ample access to Venice's most notable sites while maintaining a breadth of tranquility away from the bustling crowds. The room, though basic, offered comfortable amenities, including effective heating, which was particularly welcome in February's chill. A window overlooking the canal added a pleasant touch, complementing the charm of the courtyard setting. the hotel features express check-in and luggage storage, confirming it as a practical option for travelers on the go. While the hotel excels in location and convenient amenities, my one concern was noise levels, especially as my room was situated near the entrance. The frequent sound of the door could hinder restful sleep-something to consider when making your choice. Caneva presents a solid value proposition for those seeking a clean, comfortable stay in the heart of Venice without the lavish price tag of more opulent hotels.
